Specialized In-Home Nursing Care

Nursing care becomes necessary when you or your loved one experiences the onset of cognitive decline or impaired mobility, or when recovering from medical procedures. Our private duty nurse services in South Florida include medical monitoring and custodial care that provide peace of mind and improve overall quality of life.

In-home nursing care is ideal for older people who wish to recuperate in the comforts of their home.

The main goal of in-home nursing care is to provide professional medical care in a familiar environment. Unlike a long-term care facility or a nursing home, the warm atmosphere of your home boosts relaxation and relieves stress when you or your loved one is recovering from an illness or undergoing medical treatment.

There are different types of in-home caregiver personnel who can assist you or your loved one.

  • In-home nurses are either registered nurses or licensed practical nurses who can administer medications, monitor vital signs, dress wounds, and provide other types of medical care.

  • Home caregivers provide personal care services , like meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, continence, and transportation to appointments. They assist with medication scheduling, too.

  • Companion homemakers also assist with home care, but they’re trained to engage and socialize. They don’t assist with activities of daily living, like grooming and toilet assistance.
